Bellevue Rock Club

CALLING ALL ROCK ENTHUSIESTS!

Are you looking for a group of people who share your love of rocks and geology? Come check out Bellevue Rock Club. 

We meet on the first Tuesday of the Month, from 7-9 PM in Aldersgate's Friendship Hall.

Mission

What do meetings look like?

  1. We have a business meeting portion,

  2. We hand out a couple of door prizes (rocks involved),

  3. We've just instituted monthly birthday acknowledgements (rocks involved),

  4. We have show-and-tell by anyone who brings a rock to show (and tell about it),

  5. We have a snack/treat break during which we do our "Gotta Have It" rock auction (rocks involved, typically priced from $1 up to maybe $4-5 depending on size and what the mineral is).

  6. We do a program each month, either a DVD presentation on rocks/rock related material, or in-person programs with speakers.

  7. We clean up  and are out the door shortly after 9 pm.
